Sunday Roasts

Please note that our Roast Dinners are limited in quantity, and may not be available all day.
Booking is advised but not always necessary (menu not available on new years eve daytime).

Traditional Roast Sirloin of Beef~ House Aged, served pink or well done, with roast potatoes, today’s fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and a rich red wine gravy.

Roast Rump of Lamb~ An individual rump of lamb, Roasted in the oven and recommended to be cooked pink, with roast potatoes, today’s fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and a rich red wine gravy.

Roast Turkey~ Served with sausage rolled in bacon, roast potatoes, today’s fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, and a rich Cider gravy.

Roast Loin of Pork ~ Roast Loin of Pork and crispy crackling, with roast potatoes, today’s fresh vegetables, Homemade Stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and a cider gravy.

Vegetables “in the Hole” ~ Sweet peppers, mushrooms, tomato, coriander and stuffing, sauté in Olive Oil and surrounded in a Golden Yorkshire Pudding, served with a rich Cider Gravy.

12oz Ribeye ~ 300g approx. lightly marbled with fat, recommended to be cooked at least medium rare. Served with your choice of either Au Poirve (Green Peppercorn sauce) or Truffle Butter. £28

Fillet Steak ~ 200g (8oz.) approx. with no fat, the most tender of our steak, we prefer not to serve this well done! Served with your choice of either truffle butter or an Au Poivre sauce. £28
Marinated Duck Breast ~ A large duck breast marinated in a blend of fresh oranges, red chillies and plums. Served pink with roasted shallots, sautéed curly kale and a sweet sherry jus. £25

Taste of the Wild ~ Medallions of ostrich, venison and zebra, gently sauté and served pink with a sauce of flamed brandy, sweet peppers, bacon lardons, sweet garlic and cream. £26

Crispy Duck ~ Half a duck, roasted until crispy and served with a sauce of redcurrant jelly, cherry wine and fresh strawberries, finished with a nip of British cream. £26

Pork Tenderloin - Cannons of pork tenderloin in a hunter’s style sauce of mushrooms, bacon lardons, baby onions and red wine, finished with cream and crispy cheese dumplings. £24

Thai Style Crocodile ~ Tender strips of crocodile in our homemade thai sauce with coconut milk, lime, chilli, diced tomatoes, spring onion and fresh coriander. Served in a filo basket, on a bed of savoury rice. £26

Seabass ~ Fillets of seabass, pan seared and served with baby prawns, scampi and a scallop, served on a bed of mixed leaves with raspberry vinaigrette and buttered baby potatoes. £24

Salmon and Monkfish Plate ~ Gently steam fried salmon, with shell-on mussels, prawns, scampi and slices of monkfish, finished with white wine, double cream and a dash of pernod. £25

SwordFish Creole~ A swordfish loin steak marinated in our own blend of creole spices, then topped with julienned leeks and concassed tomatoes, baked in the oven and served with a jug of white wine sauce. £26

Vegetarian Parcel ~ Courgette, aubergine, red onion and sweet peppers layered and wrapped in filo pastry and baked until golden. Served with a homemade tomato and garlic sauce. £22

All of our a la carte dishes are served with Dauphinoise potatoes & a selection of seasonal vegetables.
