Since 2011, word has spread about Weighbridge Brewhouses micro-brewery, which has delivered well over 12 different ales for our customers since we started brewing in August 2011.
This year our Brewer's Mark Wallington and Jordan Wheeler have come up with some of the best beers in the area!
So why not book now and come and see what all the fuss is about.
Brinkworth Village 3.6% ABV
Light, hoppy refreshing ale, with a delicate floral aroma. A good session beer.
Weighbridge Best 4.3% ABV
A light copper coloured ale with a full palate and a spicy fruit aroma. A good bitter ale but with a malty aftertaste.
Dubbel 5.8% ABV
No, its not spelt wrong. This is a Belgium styled beer, hence the odd spelling. Low hop, but just enough to give it slightly spicy and earthy aroma, and with darker malts to give it reddish colour, sweet taste, and a Smokey aroma.
GWR 175 Special Mild 4% ABV
This beer is celebrating the 175th anniversary of the Swindon works, and what a beer to celebrate with. With a rich malt taste, smooth roasted coffee aromas, this beer is easy drinking and has all the depth of a strong beer.
Pooley's Golden 4.7% ABV
A robust golden ale, full bodied with plenty of bitterness and with an unusual gooseberry aroma from a New Zealand hop. The aftertaste is an excellent balance of the malt and hop. Our best seller and not to be missed.
If you fancy enjoying our beers at home then you're in luck. We offer all our Weighbridge ales as take-out with 24 hours prior notice, bag-in-box containers available in 18 and 36 pints. We also have our 5 litre (9 pints) mini kegs available which are great for a small get together or to give someone as a gift. Please ask at the bar for more details.
