This menu is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm until 2pm. Please note this menu will not be available during December.

Today’s Light Lunch Menu
A tender 8oz sirloin steak cooked to your liking, served with a rich, green peppercorn sauce.
Steak and Kidney Pie
Tender pieces of Beef and Kidney in a rich Red Wine gravy, topped with golden Puff Pastry.
Liver and Bacon
Slices of lambs liver, cooked either pink or well done, presented on a bed of garlic flavoured mashed potato with a rich onion gravy, topped with crispy bacon.
Fillet of Seabass
A seabass fillet, pan fried in a duo of savoury butters, served with hot buttered new potatoes and juicy baby prawns.

Bangers and Mash
Locally made spicy Italian pork sausages from the butcher’s dog sausage company, served on a bed of scallion mash potato with a rich onion gravy.
A large pork chop, griddle cooked. Served with a caramelised apple and cider cream sauce.
A large Barnsley chop, cut across the bone, cooked either pink or well done, served on a bed of colcannon potatoes, with a rich mint gravy.

Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions and Tender Strips of Beef Fillet in our homemade madras sauce. Served with savoury rice and poppadums.
Baby plum tomoatoes, cucumber, mixed leaves, olives and baby peppers, topped with griddled halloumi cheese and a house dressing.
Trio of Seafood salad
Fillet of smoked mackerel, Smoked salmon and baby prawns, served with a dressed salad, warm granary roll finished with marie rose and dill mayonnaise.
A selection of wild mushrooms, in a zingy brandy sauce, with gherkins, lemon and smoked paprika. Served on a bed of savoury rice.
Bubble and Squeak
Crushed new potatoes with sliced onion and savoy cabbage pan-fried and served with crispy bacon and free-range eggs.
Spinosi tagliatelle, tossed with button mushrooms, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes and baby spinach, in a creamy sauce with a hint of sweet chilli, topped with cheese and gratinee.
