This menu is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm until 2pm. Please note this menu will not be available during December.

Today’s Light Lunch Menu
A tender 8oz sirloin steak cooked to your liking, served with a rich, green peppercorn sauce.
Lamb and Mint Pie
Tender pieces of lamb in a white wine and mint flavoured gravy. Topped with golden puff pastry.
A generous slice of pork loin that has been twice cooked and topped with crispy crackling, complete with a creamy cider sauce and homemade apple compote.
Bangers and Mash
Locally made pork, rosemary and garlic sausages from the butcher’s dog sausage company, served on a bed of scallion mash potato with a rich onion gravy.
Trio of Lamb Chops
Three lamb chops cooked either pink or well done, sevred on a bed of colcannon potatoes and homemade mint gravy.
Fillet of Seabass
A seabass fillet, pan fried in a duo of savoury butters, served with hot buttered new potatoes and juicy baby prawns.
Liver and Bacon
Slices of lambs liver, cooked either pink or well done, presented on a bed of garlic flavored mashed potato with a rich onion gravy, topped with crispy bacon.
A large pork chop, griddle cooked and served with a rich cider and cream sauce, with chorizo and baby mushrooms.
A large duck breast roasted and served either pink or well done on a bed on oriental style stir fried vegetables.
All of the above are served with fresh vegetables of the day
Smoked Salmon Salad
Sliced smoked salmon with juicy prawns, presented with a salad of mixed leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, homemade mayonnaise and marie rose sauce. Served with warm new potatoes and focaccia bread.
Strips of tender beef, in a zingy brandy sauce, with gherkins, lemon and smoked paprika. Served on a bed of savoury rice.
Bubble and Squeak
Crushed new potatoes with sliced onion and savoy cabbage pan-fried and served with crispy bacon and free-range eggs.
Spinosi tagliatelle, tossed with button mushrooms, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes and baby spinach, in a creamy sauce with a hint of sweet chilli, topped with cheese and gratinee.
