Our light lunch menu is back, a selection of dishes priced at £13.50 (unless otherwise stated).

This menu is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm until 2pm. Please note this menu will not be available during December.

Today’s Light Lunch Menu



Sirloin Steak
A tender 8oz sirloin steak cooked to your liking, served with a rich, mushroom, madeira and cream sauce. (£3 supplement)

Moroccan Game Pie
Tender pieces of Lamb, Ostrich, Venison and Zebra marinated in north African spices, in a authentic Moroccan sauce, finished with Dried fruit and topped with puff pastry.

Barnsley Chop
A large Barnsley lamb chop marinated in garlic and fresh mint. Served on a bed of garlic crushed new potatoes with mint infused gravy.

Bangers and Mash
Locally made Toulouse style sausages. Served on a bed of scallion infused mash potato and rich onion gravy.

Fillet of Fresh Trout
A fillet of Trout, pan fried in a duo of savoury butters, served with hot buttered new potatoes and juicy baby prawns.

Liver and Bacon
Lambs Liver, served either Pink or Well done on a bed of Garlic infused Mash Potato. Finished with homemade onion Gravy.

Belly Pork
Twice cooked pork belly, complete with crispy crackling. Served on a bed of apple infused ,mashed potatoes and rich onion gravy.

Pork Goulash
Tender pieces of pork, in a creamy white wine sauce, flavoured with paprika, served with crispy cheese dumplings.

All of the above are served with fresh vegetables of the day



Smoked Salmon and Prawn Salad
Sliced smoked salmon with juicy prawns, presented with a salad of mixed leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, homemade mayonnaise and Marie rose sauce. Served with warm new potatoes and focaccia bread.

Tagliatelle Mexicana
Sweet Peppers, button mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, in a creamy white wine sauce finished with a hint of chilli. Topped with Gratinee cheddar cheese.

Bubble and Squeak
Crushed new potatoes with sliced onion and savoy cabbage pan-fried and served with crispy bacon and free-range eggs.

Mushroom Stroganoff
A selection of Wild Mushrooms in a zingy brandy sauce, with gherkins, lemon and smoked paprika. Served on a bed of savoury rice.

Prawn Curry
Juicy prawns in a mild Curry sauce, made using a Homemade blend of aromatic Spices alongside fresh ginger, cardamon and coriander. Served with savoury rice, poppadum's and mango chutney.
