Menus and Booking



Christmas Eve serving hours will be 12noon - 5pm, doors closing at 7.30pm.
New Years Day we will be serving food 2pm - 8pm, doors closing at 10pm.

Where better to celebrate Christmas than here at the Weighbridge Brewhouse.

Here we present our LUNCH & DINNER MENU options.

Provisional bookings can be taken over the phone, but must be confirmed within one week, by a £10 per person, non-refundable deposit. This can be done by credit card or good old-fashioned cash!! Which ever is easiest for your group organiser. The bill can also be settled in the same way on the day of your booking. Please note we cannot accept cheques of any kind.

Please note: This menu is available throughout December, Monday to Friday only.

We will require your menu choices a week before your booking.

Christmas LUNCH Menu 2017


To start...

Smoked Haddock and Prawn Soup,
A Creamy Soup with Smoked Haddock, Prawns and Spring Onions. Finished with a West Country Cheddar Cheese topped Crouton.

A Duo of Melon and Prosciutto Ham Salad,
A light Winter Salad with both Galia Melon and Honeydew Melon served amongst dry aged Spanish Prosciutto Ham and Fresh Basil.

Spiced Pork and Coriander Meatball,
Ground Pork with fresh Coriander and Onions, mixed with a selection of Spices and served with a Thai style Coconut sauce.

Stuffed Tempura Fried Baby Bell Pepper,
A baby Bell Pepper filled with Cream Cheese, Diced Apple and Avocado. Deep fried in our own recipe Pakora batter and served with a Sweet Red Pepper Sauce.

And then...

Roast, fresh Turkey Breast,
With Pork Sausage wrapped in Streaky Bacon, homemade Sage Stuffing and a rich Cider Gravy.

Roast Sirloin of British Beef,
Served Pink, with Horseradish Yorkshire Pudding and a rich, Red Wine gravy.

Lemon Sole Champenoise,
A double Fillet of Lemon Sole layered with King Prawn Mousse and gently poached, topped with fresh Pea Shoots and a Rich Champenoise sauce.

Vegetable Suet Pudding,
A selection of Roasted Winter Vegetables in a rich Vegetarian Gravy, encased in Suet Pastry made from Vegetarian approved Suet. Finished with extra Gravy

To follow…

Strawberry Soup,
Homemade Strawberry Soup, served with a quenelle of Ginger cream, garnished with fresh Mint and White Chocolate snow.

Christmas Pudding,
Homemade of course and matured for 12 weeks, steamed forever and served with a rich Brandy Sauce.

Baileys, Chocolate and Honeycomb Cheesecake,
A biscuit base, topped with Chocolate and Baileys Cheesecake made using both Milk and White Chocolate. Drizzled with warm Toffee sauce and garnished with Fresh Fruit.

Fresh Fruit Cocktail,
A salad of fresh Fruit seeped in a Damson Wine Sauce, served topped with Strawberry Ice Cream.

And finally...

Douwe Egberts Coffee and Warm Minced Pies.
